The Holden Arboretum
Located just southeast of Mentor, Ohio is The Holden Arboretum. At 3,500 acres, it is one of the nation's largest arboreta. The Holden Arboretum was established in 1931 on a 100-acre parcel of land donated by Roberta Holden Bole.
The Holden Arboretum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. year round except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
