Festival

Highlighted as the best blues and jazz in Ohio, Gahanna's Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival is indeed one of the premiere annual music festivals in central Ohio. The event started small in the late 90s from a half-day event into a large 3-day family-friendly event with over 90 hours of live entertainment on 4 stages in historic downtown Gahanna along Mill Street and of course the new Creekside Plaza development that has transformed old Gahanna.

Accoustic BluesWhether you're a blues fan, a jazz fan, or just enjoy good food and friends, the festival is a highlight of the summer and shouldn't be missed.

Parking can be an issue during the event. While you can park on most of the streets, it is unlikely you'll ever find an open spot. There are several free parking lots available, but they are a pretty good distance from the festivities and you'll want to take advantage of the free school bus shuttle that runs from the 2 lots back to a common drop-off near one of the entrances.

There is a small admission charge to enter the main stage areas. Plenty of food vendors line one side of Mill Street and the other side has festival vendors. If you want to sit down during any of the shows, best to bring your own fold-up chairs for optimum comfort.
